Lightest Double Stroller
If you're looking for a light double stroller weight and fold size are the most important aspects to consider. When not in use, choose an infant stroller that is simple to use and small in size. This will allow it to store in your car trunk, and also to navigate through airport gates and international roads.
The most lightweight strollers have a lightweight, easy fold and self-standing mechanisms to reduce stress on parent bodies. Many strollers come with different seating options and some are able to accommodate infant car seats.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
The perfect product for families who are always on the move. Lightweight with a convenient one-hand compact fold. All-terrain wheels and front suspension as well as a multi-position reclining seat allow children to weigh up to 50 lbs. The tray for parents and kids, large storage basket, and 3-tiered extended canopy with windows that peek out at the sun provide maximum protection.
The Cloud received one of the lowest marks in our quality tests due to the fact that it has a thin seat, made of hard plastic, and a style that feels dated. It's also more expensive than other strollers that are lighter. This is a bad option for parents looking for the cheapest option.
Although it's not the tiniest double stroller, it has enough features to be worth a look. Its swiveling front wheel makes it easy to move on flat surfaces, and it can jump curbs with minimal effort, unlike many other lightweight strollers that diverge when trying to accomplish the same thing. The low handle of the Cloud is a problem, however; it's nearly at knee height and not adjustable. It's uncomfortable to push your legs suspended in the air, and it doesn't help that it lacks padding.
During testing, we found that the Cloud was easy to set up and open. To close it, it's a bit more difficult. You must slide the slider before you press the large white button. This can be frustrating when you're trying to keep your children entertained while you do it.
The Cloud has a small but deep storage basket that can be used to fit a medium-sized diaper bag. The basket is narrow and you may have to store something inside to reach the back. The Cloud comes with two tray for parents and a child tray each with two cup holders. But both are too narrow for larger bottles or cups.
The Kolcraft brand has been in existence since 1946 and is a third-generation family-owned business. They started by making crib pads and diapers, but now they manufacture a variety of baby products, such as highchairs and infant car seats. The company is based in Chicago and is an American manufacturer.
Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS
Jeep Destination Ultralight is a lightweight double stroller with a minimalist design that's perfect for traveling. It's super light at just 18 lbs (lighter than some single strollers!) It folds flat, making it easy to carry and store. It also has independently reclining seats as well as large SPF 50 sunvisors that have a peekaboo window. The visors are adjustable to accommodate children of different heights. It also comes with an integrated parking brake with one step and is Disney-sized approved.
The swivel wheels on the Jeep are also awesome for maneuvering over bumps and uneven surfaces. This stroller doesn't accept car seats. Your child must be at least six months old and have an excellent neck control in order to be able to ride in the front seat. The stroller comes with an umbrella sun canopy with three panels and each seat comes with its own cupholder and snack tray.
Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend is a different incredibly light side by side stroller. It's a bit heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus at 23 pounds, but it's thin and slim (26.5 inches wide!) It's got a lot of elegant details that make it perfect for travel. It has a super simple fold, is very maneuverable and can fit in airplane overhead compartments and trunks easily.

The Joovy Kooper X2 tri-folds and is ultralight, similar to the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double or Mountain Buggy Nano Duo. It's quite similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS, but it has some key distinctions. It's also slightly more expensive, but it has greater maneuverability and an extra sun canopy. It also comes with a handy carry strap and can accommodate kids up to 44 lbs per seat.
Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+
If you're looking for a stroller that's light but packed with features look no further than Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. It is not only incredibly lightweight at just 13 lbs but also has plenty of storage, including child and parent cupholders, a child's sippy-cup pouch, a parent's storage pocket and more. The stroller is also compatible with a child's car seat and comes with a brake with a flip-flop feature that is easy to engage. It's designed to adapt to your kids from a baby stroller to a toddler stroller simply by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children aged 6 months of age and up.
This stroller only has swivel wheels and no locking feature which means it won't be the best option for steep or rocky terrain. It's still a good choice for most families, as it can be easily maneuvered on paved surfaces and other smooth surfaces.
This stroller is among the lightest double strollers that has full-size features and an elegant, compact design. The quick-close feature allows the stroller to fold with just one hand in seconds and is small enough to be easily stored in your trunk or garage. It can also be used as a stoller for travel and is compatible without adapters with most car seats.
The Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is unique from other lightweight travel strollers because it features two separate seats that can each support up to 100 pounds. The seats have a recline that can be adjusted in multiple positions, separate leg rests, and three-panel canopies with flip-out sunvisors and windows that can be seen from a distance.
The seats are padded to ensure the comfort of your child. They also come with a 5-point safety harness that can be adjusted to three different height positions. Each seat has an infant cushion, which is ideal for newborns. The cup holders for parent and child, the cell phone holders, and the huge storage basket will be loved by parents. The stroller can also be equipped with the Yoyo+ Board, which transforms it into an additional stroller.
Joovy Kooper X2
The Kooper X2 is an excellent choice for parents seeking an easy-to-use double stroller that can hold two children. The sling-style seats are comfy and offer a similar amount of headroom, allowing children to be seated together. Unlike many other side-by-side strollers this one Kooper X2 offers a fully reclined seat that is an ideal spot to nap. The recline feature is simple to use, but it's not a perfect flat. For taller children, there may be a leg hanging in the reclined position. It also has a big canopy that we found to be more effective at blocking the sun's rays than other strollers in our evaluation of the top double strollers.
The stroller is lightweight enough to be able to move through door frames. This was a major issue with other models we tried. It folds easily and the handlebars sit close to the ground. Its only downside is its relatively small storage space, which can feel cramped when full of kids' toys.
Joovy is a family-owned business that creates innovative, practical and high-quality baby products. Their line of products includes innovative baby bottles such as the Joovy Zoom X2 Double stroller and a unique raincover that can be fitted to an array of popular strollers. The prices are reasonable and often come with fun designs that appeal to children.
In our tests on double strollers, we look at various aspects to determine how easy the stroller is to use, including how easy it is to set up and fold, adjust the safety harness and open and close the brakes, lift and carry the folded stroller as if placing it in a trunk of a car, and also install and remove the infant car seat (if appropriate). We also assessed the strength and durability and also whether each model has an adult tray that can be used by both children.
stokke double stroller earned the highest score for ease of use in our most recent update of our top double strollers guide, and one of the top scores in our Strollers test program overall. Its simple-to-use design features one hand, with non-tilt recline as well as a large canopy with ventilation mesh that you can see through even when it's tilted. There are also separate tray for kids, cup holders built-in and zipper pockets for parents, and a large storage basket.
